About the Bit
Is your sensitive or fussy in the contact? Does your horse have a large tongue and sensitive bars? Or do you have a horse with a small mouth and very little room for a bit?
The Neue Schule Turtle Tactio has been designed for all of the above.
The Turtle Tactio mouthpiece has a locking link and unique shape which allows the bit to almost float in the horse’s mouth giving room for the tongue and restricting pressure to the horse’s bars.

this bit has been super for my newly broken in Welsh Cob. He has very fat lips and this Bit was suggested by Bit Bank as suitable for his type. It is working a treat. He is comfortable and not fussing now. Thank you Bit Bank!!

I had a bit fitting with a Bit Bank approved fitter and was recommended to try this bit for my mare. The whole process from booking the fitting, the recommendation and delivery of the order was absolutely seamless. My mare has been very reluctant to accept contact, for 2 years I have tried a number of strategies and after 1 ride in this bit I could feel her accepting the bit.

Such a difference in contact
Our fussy and sensitive OTT mare has finally accepted contact! After trying several soft bit options, I finally spoke to bit bank. We have been using the turtle top for a month now and my daughter has finally been able to ride with contact, knowing that her horse is happy and comfortable. The difference to their flat work and to their show jumping is fantastic

Turtle Tactio
I got this bit after talking to Charmae about my issues with my boy. The first ride in it and he was already better, a lot less head moving and no tossing at all. Now after a few months I can say it changed the riding completely. He takes the bit without argument when bridling up which is not what he did prior. When riding he's responsive, doesn't lean on my hands like he used to, doesn't ignore me either, no snatching the reins, is light in contact and no head tossing at all anymore.

Beautiful quality bit, the description states it allows room for a fleshy tongue but no reference to bar pressure. Bought on bit bank advice for a horse who cannot have bar pressure (due to injured bars) and was tongue tied to race.
