About the Bit
Is your sensitive or fussy in the contact? Does your horse have a large tongue and sensitive bars? Or do you have a horse with a small mouth and very little room for a bit?
The Neue Schule Turtle Tactio has been designed for all of the above.
The Turtle Tactio mouthpiece has a locking link and unique shape which allows the bit to almost float in the horse’s mouth giving room for the tongue and restricting pressure to the horse’s bars.

I love this bit, I brought it for an recently retired OTT who I used to ride track work in a Hunter Turtle Top with fantastic results so the transition to this bit for his future as a show horse was a no brainer. Then I tried it on my 2yo Thoroughbred filly who is in race training she was having issues with early erupted caps, very sensitive in her mouth to the point were she was unworkable in other bits we had tried and Evan the one we broke her in with.... nothing was working. She started rearing and flipping over to the slightest of pressure it was horrible. Her teeth were up to date and had the dentist numerous times but they were enough to annoy her but not ready to be removed. We were going to tip her out again but then I had one thought to try the NS Taco Turtle with one 2 rides She is a completely different filly and we were able to keep her in work, as she was so much more comfortable most importantly. She hasn’t evan thought of rearing and flipping over and is so happy to go forward. #gamechanger
Thanks to Bit Bank for suggesting this bit. Our horse had been tossing her heard and was sensitive in her mouth which caused her to have issues with her transitions to Canter. We found after changing to this bit that she stopped flicking her head and felt more control with her. Our mare relaxed with the pressure in her mouth as well. I would highly recommend this bit to anyone having those issues. We saw results almost immediatly.
Very pleased I went with this bradoon as recommended by the girls at BitBankAU
