The Williams cheekpiece allows for multiple rein positions. If connected to the main ring the bit acts as a loose ring, but when connected to the bottom ring it promotes pole flexion by creating more positive poll pressure. The Williams cheekpiece helps to prevent drifting.

The Bomber Blue is a unique bit which produces amazing results for the majority of horses. The mouthpiece is ported to give tongue relief. The material used allows the bit to remain light and it encourages salivation. It is particularly well suited to horses that object to metal mouth pieces.

Brilliant bit! One sensitive mouthed mare is super happy and responsive, no rushing into jumps. Sons strong pony is much softer, better turns and just generally a nice ride for a child when jumping. Love the multiple rein options and the shape of the cheek piece away from the face.

    Bomber Blue Williams bit review

So I just purchased the bit mentioned above. At first my horse was really hard to turn but I just kept riding. There was a lot of chewing at first. After about half an hour she was used to it and went like a dream. I have control again! She was responsive and easy to control and it was fun to ride her again! So So happy with my bit, I can highly recommend it if you have a horse that rushes to jump, this will eliminate it completely! Diana

I bought this bit because I was looking for a modern version of a kimblewick. Although my horse gets strong X/C and SJ he has a very sensitive mouth which is a difficult combination! The video on the BBW actually recommended this bit for horses like mine. My horse seems very comfortable in this bit, he produces lots of saliva and is quite light and much easier to slow down and collect X/C. Also he doesn't try to get behind the contact like he did when I tried a gag. I'm always peering into his mouth to make sure everything is OK and I'm really happy so far and will continue to use the BBW.
