Jessica Wardell - Performance Saddlefits - ACT

Jessica has been in love with horses since she was 5 years old. She attended pony club in her school years and competed in dressage, showing and showjumping.

She owns 3 horses currently, her 27 year old retired pony club horse, a young paint x QH and the apple of her eye, her stock horse with whom she hopes to show when she finds the time in her busy schedule!

Jessica is a saddle fitter of 4 years and is trained under the guidelines of the Society of Master Saddlers, the most influential professional body in the world connected with saddlery. The Society remains the only non-commercially linked saddle fitting qualification in the world.

Jessica has a passion for making the world a better place for horses and in turn making horses as comfortable as possible under saddle. She has a strong focus on anatomy and biomechanics of both horse and rider and the effect on the horses performance and she felt that Bit fitting was the next qualification she needed to add to her business.

Jessica has seen some amazing transformations in horses that she has put into new bits and is excited for the future in bit fitting.

Jessica services the ACT, Illawarra/Shoalhaven & South Coast & Central West NSW.

Susan Rousak - ACT

I'm so excited to help you find the right bit for your horse. My main focus in the equestrian world is to improve horse comfort and help riders understand their equipment better, and the impacts it has on the horse.

My horse journey began as in my early teens, attending riding school and begging for a horse. I was lucky enough to get my own horse and went to pony club and started competing in dressage and showing. As my riding career went on I transitioned to a few off the track thoroughbreds along with some other breeds. I always was interested in learning more about how horses think, what I can do to help them and ensure they are comfortable. I had a break from horses through my early adult life, and upon returning to horses I had one horse that took my journey down a whole new path, well a bunch of paths. Through this I studied various horsemanship styles, horse psychology and also became an equine bodyworker.

I am certified in equine sports massage, myofunctional therapy, craniosacral therapy and kinesiology taping. I am based in the ACT but travel to surrounding NSW regions.
