There is so much information and so many styles of bitwear to choose from, so BBA makes it easy to understand and helps guide you to a bit choice that will suit both your needs and the needs of your horse. We are all individuals and we all have different needs. BBA is here as part of your support team to offer support, advice and the very best service.

Owner and Bitting Specialist - Charmae Bell

In addition to Bit Bank, I previously owned and operated a very successful horse agistment centre in the Adelaide Hills, SA. I am extremely passionate about providing 5 star horse care, comfort and health.

I have been working with horses consistently from a young age - from harness and thoroughbred racing, to polocrosse, rodeos, pony club, endurance, dressage and hacking. There isn't much I haven't come across or tried! I am committed to constantly learning and bringing you the most up to date information and equestrian products from around the world.

I have been a bitting specialist since 2014, and have helped hundreds of horses and riders just like YOU to get the most out of every ride. Whether it is dressage, jumping, XC or just pleasure riding or breaking in, I can help you!

Bitting Specialist: Briony Temby

Briony is a keen and competitive showjumper, and very successful too! Here she is pictured on El Diablo (affectionately known as Ernie) with her championship rug after taking out the Strathalbyn SJC Euro Equestrian Championship! Other accomplishments include:

Briony has been on the National Young Rider Squad, SA Junior/ Young Rider Squad and Senior Development Squad and also represented SA at the Australian Championships twice. She has also been on multiple state teams - WOW!

Briony has been with us here at Bit Bank since 2016. She has achieved her Neue Schule accreditation and has been 'out in the field' with Charmae at trade events - you may have been lucky enough to meet her there or speak with her on the phone!

Briony also has a special interest in young horses and retraining problem horses. She has a wealth of experience under her belt and is invaluable when it comes to advice for horses who are really (like, REALLY) tricky in the mouth.
