Megan Jones is one of Australia's top event riders, a Silver Medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Jones began riding at the age of 5, continued through her early years in Pony Club before hitting the international scene in 2003 at the World Cup Final.
Winner of the Anna Savage Award, best and fairest, 2002, 2006 and 2008 (joint winner with Chris Burton), the Australian Centenary Medal 2000 and 2008 South Austraian Female Athlete of the Year
Andrew Cooper is an established elite rider, competing on the Australian Eventing circuit and is currently based in Morwincha Queensland. Andrew works from Winjarra Park, and concentrates on training, breaking-in and re-schooling performance and race horses along with coaching riders of all abilities.
Highlights of Andrew’s career include 3rd place at the Australian International 3DE CCI**** in Adelaide on “Evergem Perfection” in 2016. He won the CCI** at the Sydney International 3DE in 2017 on “Hunters Hill”. Another key highlight for Andrew was placing 3rd in the CCI*** at the Melbourne International 3DE in 2017 on “Tasman Park Ovation” and additionally being selected to ride on the Senior Australian Team in the Oceania Championships on “Evergem Perfection”.
Emma was obsessed with horses from an early age. With raw talent and a horse she won in a contest, she worked her way up to become a horse trainer for international dressage rider Holger Schulze. In 2013, a near-fatal car accident caused paraplegia, but just seven months later she was riding again and training for the 2016 Australian Paralympic Team.
Emma and her Danish Warmblood horse Zidane competed in two events at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, placing fifth in the mixed dressage individual championship and ninth in the team open with teammates Sharon Jarvis, Lisa Martin and Katie Umback. Emma again represented Australia at the World Equestrian Games in Tyrone 2018, where she finished fourth.
Most recently, Emma and Zidane have been announced on the shortlist for Tokyo 2020!
Pauly Daniel and his wife Lauren are the founders of Daniel-Tessari Horse Reflections. Pauly, real working Horseman: Ringer/Stockmen, Horse Trainer/Colt Starter, Horse Training Clinician and Professional Rodeo Pick-up Man. Training for a variety of disciplines from working stock horses to dressage.
Pauly’s connection and affinity with animals and horses in particular is life-long. Born and raised working stock on the family property in the beautiful Flinders Ranges and having inherited his family’s respect for the beautiful animals, he started his journey with horses from an early age. He has spent his early working life on cattle stations in Australia as a Ringer, drover and colt starter and over the years he has competed in various disciplines.
Pauly was also successful in the Australian Equitana Brumby Challenge in 2016, where trainers work with a brumby over a period of 150 days – taking them from the wild and training them to then compete over 4 days at Equitana.
A horse lover and rider her whole life, Bridget has now taken the plunge into the Para Dressage world! In just 12 months, the progress and achievements she has made, along with her amazing partner Sunrise, have been unbelievable. Now, with the real possibility of going to the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, Bridget is fully focused and committed to making her dream of representing Australia come true.
With Ashwood Performance Horses very generously providing Bridget with her competition partner Koora Lyn Sunrise, there is no stopping this team. In just one year they have been able to achieve so much together, including Victorian reserve champions, Australian National Champions, Equestrian Australia Equitana demonstration team, selection for Equitana Masterclasses, numerous magazine features and being added to the Equestrian Australia High Performance Squad. All of which has set Bridget on the very real path of making the 2020 Tokyo Australian Paralympic Para Equestrian Team.
Training and campaigning horses in eventing, showjumping and dressage in the Adelaide Hills and around Australia Sarah is committed rider, well known in the Australian Eventing scene.
Reccently named Equestrian SA's Rider Of The Year for the third year in a row and is a dedicated 4* eventing rider with her team of horses.
